Beschreibung des ObjektsPoseidon House is a luxurious beach house perched on an exclusive 3.2 acre atop of a 26 meter high massive rock, commanding stunning views across the South China Sea. The House sets in beautiful and natural tropical garden, nestled on a secluded white-sandy beach on the picturesque north coast of Sabah, Malaysia, near the famous tip of Borneo. The house has 180 degree outstanding views of over 35 off-shore Islands, coral atolls and the beach is just below. There are no immediate neighbors to worry about!Poseidon House gives a true feeling that you are living in Tropical Borneo with beautiful butterflies, exotic birds, colorful insects, mischievous squirrels and all sorts of tropical green plants and fruit trees. The tropical rainforest garden stretches down to the private beach 80 feet below. Follow the tropical plant lined winding path and you will find the front garden facing Tun Mustapha Marine Park, the center of the most diverse coral reef ecosystems in the world with miles of pristine white sand where your only companions will be a couple of local fisherman casting their nets into the azure blue waters. You can walk the beaches to find shells or perhaps jog to the end of the mile long bay or just slip on your fins and mask and take a few strokes out to the stunning coral reef and waiting for you will be a bewildering array of dazzling tropical fish, the occasional lobster and starfish. If you are lucky you may see turtles graze near the shore or laying eggs along the 2 kilometer wide beach in front of the house. The House and all the suite rooms are huge and spacious, bright and airy, fully air conditioned and also with ceiling fans. Huge open and airy deck spaces, all rooms have large glass picture windows to capture the beautiful sea & island view. It also has a large out door entertainment deck and barbecue, gourmet kitchen, beautiful dining room, a lounge with satellite TV and stereo. There is a shady pool pavilion for those quiet times for reflection, and a quiet drink, which at night can be turned into a tropical sleep experience, with the warm sea and its waves gentle lapping on the beach below, lulling one to sleep, a feeling of tranquility and peace abound, as sea breezes drift across the estate. The 40 foot long natural rock pool is the only one of its kind in Malaysia, with its infinity edge, serves to cool guests after a long day either snorkeling, diving, beach activities or kayaking at the tip of Borneo or on the local beaches. Warm tropical evenings can be spent having a beach, pool or deck barbeque, or catching up with CNN on the 20 channel satellite TV. Lage des ObjektsThere are two primary industries in the town of Kudat; that of the coconut palm, and the other of fisheries. Although the coconut cultivation industry is almost dried out, thousands of acres of magnificent coconut groves remain. A drive down the miles of winding gravel roads reveal some of the most beautiful old wooden plantation houses built by the Chinese settlers hundreds of years ago. Fishing, on the other hand, is still going on. An early morning visit to the local fish market can result in the reward that is to watch some traditional wooden fishing boats come into the harbor to unload their trip's catch. Ocean live fish, squid, tiger prawns and scallops are plentiful and cheap in the town centre of Kudat. Its quite the experience to purchase a catch of your choice at the local fish market, then make your way to your favorite local restaurant. At this point, the local chef will be delighted to prepare it for you in any way of your choice.Golf: The town of Kudat holds a beautiful 18 hole golf club. Easily accessible and only 10 minutes away from Poseidon House by car, it’s golfers’ paradise at unbeatable prices. The club holds its own open air and air-conditioned restaurant with delicious Chinese cuisine at once again, unbeatable prices.
